day ONE of school.
We were picked up first thing in the morning (well... at 9:00am haha) to go to our school. I couldn't pay for the whole thing because of my stupid new visa that they tricked me into getting, it has a limit of 1000 $ so reffa is going to pay and I'm going to online transfer her the money -SO ANNOYING. anyways.
the school was quite small, but great nonetheless. there's a little sandwich shop right outside the school and it's GREAT. we ate belgium waffles this morning for cheapcheap with AMAZING juice. (have I mentioned that the juice here is freshly squeezed and perfect?)
it was a little boring today once we got into class though.
there are 11 students and everyone is over the top amazed at the high number this yaer (hahahaha) . last month it was 3 students, and we're the highest amount since like 5 years ago!!
but the course is totally legit!
we've only had two teachers so far. they were both really nice. we actually learned a bit of japenese today for the purpose of putting ourselves in the shoes of the language learner- it was intimidating but interesting for sure. we also learned a ton of grammar. that's a huge part of teaching english - I knew taht but not to the extent that it is. it's going to be a challenge- but in only two weeks we get to practice teach!! YAY!
oh and we CAN wear just jeans to school, until we practice teach.
we were also treated to a delicious lunch today midday (around 1... boy we were starving.) the lady who works at the hotel, Som is SO NICE we absolutely love her. all smiles and just adorable.
i haven't met a thai person I didn't like.
except mafia guy.
hahaha
so.
also, I am uploading pictures right now on facebook, i am sorry to those of you who have me and reffa on facebook because they're exactly the same. we will see all comemnts so it doesn't matter whose you comment on facebook but we both wanted our different friensd to see the pictures too. =)=)
please update us on stuff at home, we miss being in the loop. you know everything about us so maybe tell us what's going on back home!? <3<3

we like everyone in our class! it's a lot of fun.

YAY! So pants are ok, as long as you aren't actually out teaching! Good! Although from the look of that squatty toilet I bet you were glad to be wearing a skirt!
News from home? I'm sure you don't care but voting has begun for the new CHR contract. We have been offered 5% every April (startin last April so retro pay) for three years. Clerk 3's got hooped bit because Unit clerks, Clerk 4, 5 &6's are all getting a dollar raise on TOP of the 5% thing... sooo I don't know how I feel about that. I don't think ANY of us here really deserve and extra dollar but if SOME people are getting it then I think the rest of us should too! Anyways that's the boring work update! Jovita got a full time job at Rockyview in health records, I applied for a job there too because I just can't stand it here anymore. All of the casuals are gone so all of us are doing major OT and not really liking it.
Tim has one more shift up in COld lake and that makes me fairly happy! Really there's not much more going on here in Calg booooring! The most exciting part of my day is reading the blog from Reffa and Jessica!

basically hereee uhmm lets see, mom and dad are going to miami and bahamos for 4 dayss on business, dads meeting with someone theree i think regarding land there or his world tour, im not sure which one. meanwhile im going to stay at glendas, and im gonna let danny take me to the movie (the one that asked me to a movie in august) and ill let ya know how that turns outt. hmmm what elsee. School is greeeaaaatt i met the day care leader person, where im doing practicum, which starts tomrow im going to be with the 3-4 year olds, so that'll be fun. So yeah i had courtney out here the other night and she absolutly loveeeddd it haha so im going to have a group of about 7 gurls out here for a weekend in a few weeks, which im guessin will be fun there all really cool fun people, screw jonny!! haha its greaaatt i love it, but i miss you guysss:(

The hurricane last night that we had was crazzy likee nothing dramatic but like the cottage was moving it felt like, like the top was moving sort of, you know? lol sort of like when we were in portland estates and the top of the house did in the other hurricane? anyways yeah so that was scaryy! uhmm oh and mom got in contact with the guy who you bought your car from and i think they're gonna talk some business! sooo thats all i can think of for noww but now that i've figured out how to comment your gonna hear from me more :P
