hey guys!
I made it out of China!!! (hardly!) Richard lost his passport and wallet first in Thailand, THEN I lost my wallet.. we were penniless for a few days but his credit card came from Canada (thank GOD we ordered it!!!) and we lived off of that. 3 days later our passports (both mine and his TEMPORARY one) were taken! we lost EVERY shred of our identitification. DOH!! it was expensive and difficult and we were forced to spend certain nights in certain places and go to embassies, police stations, consulates and banks day in and day out.
yikes. It was a long stream of bad luck, but amongst that we had a really amazing time in China ANYWAYS!!!! We saw just about everything we wanted to see! But I was so so very ready to leave China when the day came for my flight :)
Now I am safe and sound at home. I love everyone so much, and I'm very cold but relieved to be wearing winter fashion! yay!
Love you all, thanks for following our adventures up until this point! We will probably not be blogging very often from NS now- but once te adventures begin again (and certainly they will) we will resume our blogging!
