Dinner avec Alex&Joseph

<--Alex and Joseph made us a vegetarian dinner in their new house before Jessica and Erin left! Joseph was such a great cook, he worked really hard and we all loved it!

Today is my last day at work. I am working with Ally for the whole day and we have lots of food to share with each other. We're debating on eating the leftover eggplant from 2 days ago thats in her car.....

Calgary- t minus 4 days

So our Calgary trip is coming to a close. It's been a ton of fun, even on days where we stayed in and played cards and watched old episodes of Friends.

We still have a few fun things planned, like Banff where we're going to see Barbie and friends and Zoo where we are going to see dinos and other cool animals, not to mention Twisted, one of the most fun bars ever.

Erin and I had a couple of "I'm gonna miss you come September" cries and talk of the future and got, if possible, even closer than we ever have been. <3 She's really an amazing sister.

I hope she's had a really great trip like I have! I think she's just about ready to go home but the three of us have been having a blast together, definately a time we'll never forget.

Ps. I called the travel clinic to see about my blood levels because I might've needed hep B and they never called me back, and he started LAUGHING. laughing? turns out you need a level of 10 to be protected against HepB and my levels are 256. how that happened is beyond me hahahaha!!

Today is moving day back home in NS so all the best to you guys, wish we could have helped out!!! can't wait to see the cottage all ready for living.

Mid-Calgary

So Reffa is just finishing up her last few shifts at her three jobs now. We are both trying to save up all we can to put towards our trip! We organized our passports, birth certificates, my degree, resumes etc etc we both have a binder of important documents to bring with us. It's starting to feel wayyy too real. We're scared, but in a good way.

Yesterday in Calgary we went to the new Casino to watch the adult hypnotist which, by the way, was HILARIOUS. but we were all too chicken to try to get hypnotised.
today Erin and I are visiting Erica who is letting us use her computer and we are going to dye her hair in a few minutes . It's soo nice to see her after a whole year of missing her <3 <3

Wish Ref was here too . She's at work.
We've got out matching rings from Tibet, with a rare flower seed blessed by a Tibeten munk tucked inside. I love mine. They are good luck and this week we went on an adventure across Calgary to find Reffa's, because she left hers at the Harry Hays building. Thank God for lost and found!!!!!!!

Calgary

.Jessica and Erin are visiting till the 23rd. We've been going to the stampede and watching a lot of Friends. Next Monday we plan to go to Banff for the day so that Erin can see where Uncle Dave used to live and then Tuesday we are going to go to the Zoo and then Wednesday they head home to go live at the cottage for the summer!
We've been working on getting everything prepared for the trip. Jessica got her Yellow Fever, Typhoid and Hep A shots last Monday. Her arm has an itchy red spot on it right now.
Friday we met up with Aunt Betty-Lou for coffee and then went to the Royal Thai Consulate downtown to apply for our Visa's. They will be ready tomorrow for us to pick up. The Woman at the desk, Francey, pretty much knows everything about Thailand so she was able to answer a lot of questions for us and teach us a lot of facts about what to do and what not to do when we get there.
